This particular seedling was grown from seed in a controlled environment.

Parentage (sourced from the hybridizer) ..
Mother: A. red crystal purple emergent (from Silver Krome Gardens - FL, USA). This plant is a red crystal (however by all means please dont think that they're a "pure" thing, they never were. From my understanding all red crystals on the market are hybrids of A. crystallinum with other things, even A. forgettii in it. This specific specimen I purchased in person from William Rotolantei's collection at Silver Krome in Florida during my trip to the US last year. It is one that has black-deep violet emergent foliage that hardens to almost black with purplish/red sparkling veins under the sun. My mother plant's current leaf size is approx 50 cm. Slightly bullate, cordate leaf blade with over lapping/ touching lobes.
Father: A. papillilaminum x carlablakiae ( last pic) This plant was purchased last year during a visit to Florida from Scott Cohen's private residence. Now looking back at it I think I might have missedplaced the label during my greenhouse move from Hanoi to Duc Trong and it might have been relabeled incorrectly. It looks more like a BVEP (Antolakii) x carlablakie or dresslerii x carlablakiae. Once it grows, I'll confirm with Scott again and do an announcement. Dark and super velvety foliage, smooth flowing distinctive Carlablakie veins over chonky bullate leaf segments.
