HOYA Elliptica
About Plant: Rare wishlist hoya. Cool veiny statement leaves which can be sun-stressed pink. Great hoya for hanging. This rooted cutting is actively growing in a 100mm pot with roots already reaching the bottom of the pot. A favourite rare Hoya - also flowers when it's a mature, established plant. Blooms have a lovely soft scent. Please view images for your reference to any marks/blemishes. Please also note that this is a live plant and may at times naturally shed a leaf as it continues to grow. Second image in gallery is from my mother plant in bloom.
Plant Care: For pink sun-stressing it needs direct morning sun. Like other stressed Hoyas, it will revert back to green if it does not get enough light. Loves bright indirect light for the rest of the day and prefers the soil to be dry before a watering. (Usually once every 10-14 days - can be weekly in summer) Same growing conditions as the other Hoya varieties. Can be trained to climb up a trellis or left to trail down spilling over the pot.
