About Plant: Miqueliopuntia miquelii is a striking, many-branched cactus from Chile with cylindrical, blue-green stems and dense spines. It’s the only species in its genus and can form low, bushy clumps up to 1–1.5 m tall and several metres wide. Flowers (white to pink) on mature plants. Please note that this is a live plant. Review all images for any marks/blemishes.
Plant Care: It thrives in full sun. Also prefers a well-draining cactus or succulent mix (Add a pouch of — Melty Mix for Cacti + Succulents to your cart). Water the plant deeply and infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Prefers warm temperatures and can tolerate heat well. It tolerates light frost but must be protected from prolonged cold and excess moisture. Also suitable for sunny patios and balconies. During the growing season (spring and summer), feed with a cactus-specific or balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength. No need to fertilise in the winter when the plant is resting.
