About Plant: Aloe vera is a succulent plant recognized for its thick, fleshy leaves that form a rosette pattern. Aloe vera has been utilized for its medicinal properties, particularly in treating skin injuries such as burns and wounds. The clear gel within its leaves contains vitamins, enzymes, minerals, and fatty acids, contributing to its soothing and healing effects. Beyond topical applications, Aloe vera gel can be incorporated into beverages and smoothies, offering potential health benefits when consumed. I personally love taking a fresh leaf each week to use as a toner in my nightly skincare routine. The aloe gel can also be used when fertilising the garden, just mix it into a bucket of water. Currently multi-planted in a peat moss mix in a large square pot and slow release fertiliser. Last image in gallery is my mother plant.
Plant Care: Grown in full sun. To ensure healthy growth, make sure itβs positioned in full sun to partial shade, using well-draining soil. Water the plant sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. While aloe vera can tolerate a range of temperatures, it's advisable to protect it from any frost during cooler periods.
