I opted for the extra large sized vacuum bags. Super handy if you need more closet space. This particular pack also comes with a travel pump.. I can finally start packing my own pillow for trips!

2. GLASS CONTAINERS

I made the switch to glass from plastic around two years ago and haven’t looked back. I tend to grab the ones that are also oven proof. It’s so easy to store any kind of food in glass containers to hold their freshness for longer. It’s also easy to see what is in them and soooo easy to pop in the dishwasher for a clean. The best part with opting for the oven proof ones is that you can bake and store your meals or deserts in the exact same container!

3. INSULATED FOOD JAR

I’ve always had something like this on my wishlist but never committed to the spend until last week. We are at the start of winter here in Sydney and I now grow veges in my patio garden and so with the soup weather it made sense to finally get one. It’s especially relevant for me as I tend to do a lot of road trips for work and so having a nourishing meal makes all the difference when the only other option is fast food. Also excited about the spoon that stores inside it’s own lid!

4. GLASS COFFEE CUPS

I don’t know about you but I tried the stainless steel coffee cups and upon taste my coffee is ruined. I then tried glass coffee cups and haven’t looked back.. yet again.

Once we opted for a home coffee machine I needed a way to bring my much loved home brew with me for those work road trips. The double glass insulation really holds the heat of your coffee for longer and the convenient slim travel size fits well in my vehicle cup holders. It’s also easy to pop in the dishwasher afterwards for a good clean. The downsides are that it’s not practical to throw in a bag due to it’s unsealed lid or to place down without care as I’ve dropped a couple on location and yes, as you can imagine, they smashed. Upon learning this I really tend to keep the glassware between my home and car.

5. COLLAPSIBLE PET BASKET

I now own around 4 or 5 of these slim organisers. You don’t really know how many items you have for your fur baby until you start to organise them all. These baskets are perfect to store treats, medication, winter knits, puppy pads, grooming tools, extra leashes, bedding, toys etc.. I also love the pet themed print and the sturdy side handles.

When I know we’ll be away from home I grab one of these baskets ready to-go with all her travel essentials which makes sleep overs super easy. There’s nothing worse than forgetting a pet necessity. And when not in use this particular basket is collapsible (lays flat) saving precious space when you need it.
